Bible Study - THE HOLY SPIRIT PPP - The Gift

Sermon-Based Bible Study – October 17, 2021

  1. What is something God has done for you that you are thankful for or are celebrating? How have you experienced God’s love and faithfulness this week?
  2. Where are you experiencing stress, anxiety or discouragement? How would you like to see God move in your life or in the life of someone close to you?
  3. What did you hear in this week’s sermon that was new or particularly interesting? Did anything stand out to you as puzzling or troubling?
  4. Have you ever been in the presence of someone and yet had no appreciation for just who that person was or what that person did?  Do you feel that way when it comes to the person, presence, and power of the Holy Spirit in your life?
  5. What do you think Chris meant when he said that a lack of addressing (avoiding/ignoring) the Holy Spirit leads to an under-appreciation for the person, power, and presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives and churches – as well as a lack of expectation?
