I love Easter at The Branch! Thanks to all who served, prayed, and brought friends! It was a blessing to witness a number of baptisms this past weekend and I believe seeds were sown in the hearts of many. If you missed the message or heard it and want to share it with someone, go here.
But Easter is more than a day or an event. It’s a lifestyle. It’s because of His resurrection that we take seriously everything He said and did. This is why we’re on a journey through the Gospel of Luke. This coming weekend, we arrive at Jesus’ “three-peat,” as I like to call it. It’s the most famous chapter in all of Luke – Luke 15. The theme Jesus addresses is so important to Him that He tells three different stories to emphasize it. Don’t miss it, and bring someone with you to The Branch this weekend!

ELDER SELECTION PROCESS
For those of you who have a knack for remembering our routines as a church, you may have felt like something was missing this Spring. It was – our annual elder selection process! If you’ve been with us for some time at The Branch, you know that we’ve usually walked through this process in the first part of the year. Last year, the elders decided to move the process to early Fall for administrative and organizational reasons. On a related note in regard to our elders, in recent weeks two have transitioned out of their roles: Chris Leverett at the Vista Ridge campus, and Jeremy Brewer at the Farmers Branch campus. We are grateful for their service among us. Stay tuned for more details in regard to our elder selection process toward the end of summer.
