- What’s the best gift you ever received for Christmas? What’s the best gift you ever gave at Christmas? In Matthew 2 the Magi give Jesus gifts as a way to honor him. Some people express love by gift giving. Others by acts of service, others by words of encouragement, others by spending quality time, and still others by physical touch. Which way of expressing love, honor or respect comes the most naturally for you?
- How would you define or describe repentance? Do you typically think of repentance as being sorry for something you’ve done? Do you think of it as referring to making a real change in your behavior? Do you think of repentance as a change of heart or in your way of thinking?

- What is it in your life that’s gone unchanged for too long? What is it in your life that you are willing to say, “You know, it doesn’t have to be this way”? What’s a different road you’re going to travel in 2022?
- What is a simple, next step you could take in obedience to what the Spirit is saying to you through this time in the Word? Who would benefit, or be interested in hearing about what you’ve learned in this study?
